Personality: Usually a laid-back and cool kind of guy. Sometimes he is funny, makes jokes, and laughs the loudest of anybody in the room, but this usually does not happen, because he is cool and reserved for open social conversations. Despite that, the Kazekage has proven himself to be politically competent and intelligent in running his village. When in battle, he's usually not serious until provoked into a bloodlusted state, in which he'll use his powers to its fullest extent and fight as competently as possible, even if it meant cheap tricks and such. Because he's so cool and collected, he does most of the talking in his head.

History: Born sometime between the Second and Third World War, Kenji had a relatively normal upbringing, until an Academy instructor who had hypersensitive chakra detecting skills saw that Kenji had abnormally high chakras that nearly equaled that of the average Jounin. So subsequently Kenji was enrolled into the Academy as a "special" kid, although he was very cool and laid-back even back then, so he didn't care about ninjutsu or socializing, although he did graduate with record-breaking marks in Kenjutsu, but had average marks for everything else. As a Genin, Kenji learned on his own how to harness and control his expanding chakra to form more versatile, stronger jutsus. He developed his Burst Kill jutsu, which was a destructive blast that employed his chakra and chakra control. This was pretty much his only technique, although he was able to add a "Wind" element to it. Kenji was naturally smart and with his one jutsu, he was able to get through the Chunin Exams simply by employing physical movements, basic techniques, and Burst Skill in a variety of different tactical ways.
He became a Chunin and was so interested in Kenjutsu that he sought out the most prominent swordsman in all of Sunagakure's dogos - Ittosai of the "Musoken". Although Kenji was the best Chunin swordsman in the village, he did not impress Ittosai and was swiftly defeated. From that time on, Kenji requested many duels/rematches with Ittosai, and when he refused, he attempted numerous attacks on him in the snakiest ways possible. Kenji was bedazzled at how someone as gifted and skilled as he could fail every single time against Ittosai. It was then revealed that Ittosai gained his reputation in the village because of his mastery over the concept of "mushin" - which was considered something of extreme awareness/superhuman "emptiness" in the world of martial arts. Because of Ittosai's experiences, knowledge, and skill in the way of the sword, he had achieved mushin. Kenji, also wishing to realize mushin, worked his way through Ittosai's dojo and learned the "one-sword fighting" style, but excelled at the "two-hand fighting style" which was unorthodox in the dojo. It was only when Kenji hit 17 could he have a true, open fight with Ittosai. And he lost.
Although Kenji's skill improved remarkably, Ittosai's skill is still way superior. Distraught, Kenji begged Ittosai to tell him how he was so strong. Ittosai merely replied, "Become like me". Afterwards, Kenji developed the "First Swords" technique and went to war. Sunagakure had to fend off many enemies. There was war with Konoha, war with Iwa, war with the smaller villages, and war with the desert raiders. Kenji was in all of them. And in war, he despaired and grew more depressed every single day. During this time, he learned the Shadow Clone jutsu and how to fly/levitate. Fighting in more than five major village wars was very rare among any shinobi, yet Kenji was involved in that much and survived them, although not without a deep mental cost. His outlook on life changed completely. He returned to the village at the age of 23; battered and heart-broken at the deaths of numerous Sunagakure ninja, and those who he did not know. Ittosai confronted Kenji again, but he knew from the looks on Kenji's eyes, that Kenji failed in achieving mushin....
However, because of his high war veteran status, Kenji was promoted to Jounin, and developed his signature technique - Lupine Warheads. using his ability to manipulate chakra to its highest levels, Kenji was able to develop unique jutsu - and exploding wolves are what he came up with after observing the desert wolf that served as transportation during the war- although most of them died. The next three years of Kenji's life was relatively straightforward; it was all training and practice. His expertise in Kenjutsu increased significantly that he became one of the most accomplished Sunagakure swordsman of his generation. He perfected chakra control and manipulation; he mastered his Burst Skill jutsu, developed his Burst Kill Maximum Thousand jutsu, and was able to gain three chakra natures. However, what good is power and natural talent if life had not been good to Kenji....
Kenji became a withdrawn, mellow kind of a person. He was often frowning and did not like to talk for extensive amounts of time. He preferred to keep his distance from power, thus causing some people to fear his immense power. However, one day, an ANBU Black OP named Fuhai befriended Kenji and restored his faith in humanity. Fuhai led Kenji into the heirarchy of Sunagakure's ANBU and Kenji observed the organization's assassination techniques and stealth methods. Fuhai showed him that the world was changing and vast, that there MUST be a place in this glorious, humongous planet for people like Kenji and him. Sharing that dream of complete happiness - even blissful happiness, Kenji's fighting morale was restored and he became the heaviest powerhouse in the village- the strongest man in Sunagakure. Seeking Fuhai's help, Kenji sought to rebel against the current kazekage. Kenji worked for months to get to a level where he can at least compete equally with the current Kazekage skill-wise. First, Kenji went through political campaigns and protests asking for the Kazekage to step them. Although a large amount of people did not want the kazekage as a leader, the majority of people did not want Kenji to be the next Kazekage. So, Kenji and his ANBU worked out a plan for a long time to assassinate the Kazekage, and it worked. Being the most strategic/war-saavy from his extreme war experience and his more skill-based fighting jutsu style, Kenji won popularity while keeping the masses in the dark, and eventually he did become the Kazekage of Sunagakure.
Kenji has been Kazekage for a little over ten years now. His personality has drastically shifted since then; although he's still repressed, he is more laid-back and leniant with people, and has long forgiven himself for his "dirty acts". Now, he acts as a symbol for Sunagakure, and that is his only reason for living. He has consolidated his power and has become even more powerful - in fact he is the number one speedster in the village, able to attain speeds that are not normal for humans. Kenji is looking for his next successor, the next war, and his next opponent.....

Levitation Technique - allows Kenji limited flight and the ability to hover dozens of meters in the air
First Swords - Made of chakra, Kenji generates two solid chakra swords, each in his hand. They have the cutting power of the average steel katana, but is more durable. Can be converted to an elemental chakra sword.
Burst Kill - Kenji charges and fires a chakra blast from his mouth, hands, or feet. This chakra blast travels relatively fast and can blow away half of a building or collapse it entirely. Requires a two-second charge.
Burst Kill Maximum Thousand - Kenji fires 1000 Burst kills, with 100 of them being fired all at once per second. The Burst Kills are congested together to make it look like it's one, massive chakra blast. Kenji can move his limbs around to change the direction of the blast. Same power and speed behind each. Spammable. Maximum range is 1 kilometer, while the maximum height and width of the blast is 500 meters. Takes up 1/3 of all of Kenji's chakra. Second-degree burns will appear on the limb that Kenji uses to fire the blast. lesser variations can be used, but at minimum, Kenji has to fire 100 Burst Kills, which takes up 1/30 of his entire chakra. He can stop the technique at any time, but the chakra cost is the same regardless.
Lupine Warheads - Kenji generates up to 100 chakra wolves, all of each are commanded and controlled by him. being made of chakra, they're not very durable, but they can easily reform and keep on attacking. These wolves only explode within a certain distance, and their maximum outputs are determined by the distance they're from their target. In 10 meters, the explosion can demolish several buildings. In 5 meters, the explosion can destroy a city block. If the wolves directly touches the target, the explosion can dwarf two city blocks. The creation of 100 wolves takes up 1/2 of Kenji's full chakra, although lesser variations can be used, with a minimum of 10 wolves. Their destructive outputs can be adjusted at any time, with the lowest being small building/large house level. These wolves are a potential danger to Kenji himself, so using them at close-range is clearly not a good idea. These wolves move very fast, almost as fast as Kenji in base speed. They're chakra sensitive in that they can smell the scent of chakra. They can hide or dig underground and then dig back up. Kenji can also turn them to elemental chakra wolves at any time he wants with varying explosive capabilities.
Shunshin no Jutsu - Kenji has a very fast Shunshin, able to move at speeds near the speed of sound.
