Combat Style Overview
Juyo: Takezo's signature style; it's a style that allows Takezo to channel volatile emotions, bloodlust, and aggresiveness to its peak in battle against his opponent, amping him with immense speed and brutal ferocity akin to that of a wild animal. It's extremely vicious, for Takezo practically mauls his opponent constantly, leaving no respite for them to breath, rest, or maintain their distance/space. Takezo will constantly slash and jab at his opponent as fast and as much as possible in order to break them down; focusing on pure power and his overwhelming dual-bladed Zanpakuto to take down enemies. In close quarters Zanjutsu combat, it's nearly impossible to best Takezo with this style. This usually incorporates a lot of spinning along the hilt to utilize his dual-bladed zanpakuto.
Ataru: A powerful and offensive form; this style focuses on speed and unpredictability to gain an advantage over opponents. Takezo will often jump, leap, and somersault around at incredible speed while attacking his opponents in mid-air, disorientating their reactions and seemingly attacking them from multiple angles. The jumping motion and speed within a confined space around the target will pressure them and eventually cause their defense to be hacked down. This style typically incorporates rapid slashes, although it's also deadly with jabs and thrusts.
Shien: A very aggressive form that focused on physical strength; completely dominating the opponent through sheer willpower. Often the style would often include immediate counters after a parry in order to overwhelm the opponent. Takezo includes a lot of flashiness in his use of the style.

Zanjutsu: Among the most skilled swordsmen in the Gotei 13, Takezo practices incredible Zanjutsu prowess, mastering several different powerful styles supplemented by his strength, speed, and animalistic brutality. A master of both dual-bladed and single-bladed Zanjutsu, Takezo knows Juyo, Ataru, Shien, Kendo, Aikido, and freeform. Utilizing his blade-staff Shikai requires great precision and training, which he was able to meet within a few decades. He is able to freely and manipulate fight with his blade-staff Shikai and use it to his advantage in any fight. He is able to switch style mid-battle, or combine them altogether. Takezo can launch very precise and powerful strikes. He is very deadly in close quarters combat. Using Juyo, he is able to attack and defend all at once, frequently "turning" an opponent's blow away as if swatting a fly, and then he follows along with his other blade to hit the open enemy. This way, he can easily create openings on their defenses. Takezo's Zanjutsu usually incorporates high degrees of constantly peppering the enemy with barrages and channeling a great hatred towards them.
Strength: As noted by his status as the captain of the 11th Division and his ferocious battle style, Takezo is very strong physically. capable of including hand to hand skills in combat, Takezo's physical blows can knock out those below that of a 3rd Seat. When armed with his Shikai, he can cut through durabilities as hard as Arrancar Hierro save for the top 4 most Espada.
Speed: In base, Takezo has very fast footwork, able to sidestep attacks and to launch himself at the opponent seemingly from multiple angles. With his Shunpo, he can use his style to its fullest, using fast footwork and moving his arms fast enough so his Zanpakuto can move at a similarly blinding speed, Takezo's attacks can overwhelm an opponent and push them back. His Shunpo skill will also avail him in Ataru as he leaps around like a monkey. He has very fast reaction time and attack speed.
Durability: Average captain-level durability.
Endurance/Stamina: Very high stamina, Takezo can fight for very extensive periods of time intensely.
Reiatsu: High reiatsu - ranks among the top 5 captains in this respect.
